About Us

1. What is Star Wars Force Journey?

   Star Wars Force Journey is an online chatroom-based role-playing game set in the Star Wars universe. We use a modified version of the Revised Core Rulebook (from Wizards of the Coast) providing a streamlined combat system and overall exciting SWRPG experience.

   
   

2. What is the current storyline?

   The story of Star Wars Force Journey began midway through the Clone Wars (approximately 20 years before Episode IV: A New Hope) when the original characters were summoned by Chancellor Palpatine for a special assignment. The group would continue to undergo missions for the Chancellor, as well as the Jedi Council, for the remainder of the war.
   

   With the rise of the Empire, the group decided to exile themselves to the outlying world of Montu Cordu. During the next couple of years the group began to raise an army and waged a private war against the new galactic regime. Eventually, their forces were obliterated in a massive planetside battle, forcing them to once again flee.
   

   The group members split up, settling on various worlds, and starting their own familes: marrying and having children. One year passed.
   

   They would eventually be brought back together for mysterious reasons and would go on to participate in numerous other quests and adventures, meeting new allies and dangerous foes. One encounter with Imperial forces in the Unknown Regions would claim the lives of two of their friends.
   

   Currently, group members are still living relatively separate lives, occasionally united on personal quests, missions for a rebel faction, or escaping the relentless agents of the Empire...

3. How do I join?

   First, fill out and submit the "Create a Character" form. Once you've done this, we'll send you an email that your application has been approved.

   After creating your character, go to the "FJ Rules & Resources" page to finish character creation and learn more about the game mechanics involved in FJ role-playing.
   

   If you are having any problems with the the character creation process, ask for help! You can do this several ways: post in the Game Chat, email the SWFJ Staff, or go to the FJ chatroom located here (or by following the "Play Now!" hyperlink on the navigation bar). We'll do our best to get back to you ASAP!

   
   

4. Why can't I play as a Jedi character?

   The current FJ campaign is set during the reign of the Galactic Empire, a time when the Jedi Order is no more and the few scattered survivors are living as vigilantes and fugatives. For continuity sake, we ask that new players choose a different class.

6. Can I edit the FJ Wiki?

   In order to post in the FJ Wiki:

   1. You must be an approved FJ member.
   2. Display an interest and knowledge in FJ lore.
   3. Be approved by an FJ Staff member.
